Painted Post, NY — June 28, 2025 — The Corning-Painted Post Little League (CPPLL) 9–11 All-Stars are champions once again, claiming the New York State District 6 title in commanding fashion. Facing off against Big Flats Little League in a best-of-seven championship series, CPPLL needed only four games to secure the crown, sweeping the series and outscoring their opponents by a decisive 48–12 margin.
A Dominant Series
From the opening pitch, CPPLL established themselves as the team to beat. Consistent offensive production and sharp pitching overwhelmed Big Flats throughout the series, with CPPLL delivering clutch hits in every game and never letting their opponent find momentum.
Championship Game Performance
The final game showcased the All-Stars’ balance of pitching strength and defensive poise. Tommy Guyette delivered a stellar performance on the mound, throwing five scoreless innings. He allowed only three hits while striking out eight batters, keeping Big Flats off the scoreboard and giving CPPLL the edge they needed to close out the championship in style.
A Sweep for the Ages
By sweeping the series 4–0, CPPLL capped an extraordinary tournament run defined by dominance at the plate, disciplined defense, and lights-out pitching. The team’s 9–11 All-Stars now proudly hold the District 6 title, adding another chapter to the league’s growing tradition.
